your business has it's home office. Please be advised that the only state
currently available for rating is Massachusetts. (Additional states coming soon. Register with Rate
Watcher to be notified when new States are added). |
| Step 2 Class Codes & Payroll |
| Class Codes: These are the four digit codes on the second page of your policy that describe the type of work being done by the individuals in your employ. Enter these class codes in the first column of the adjacent table. Payroll: On the same page that you find your class codes, will be the payroll. Enter the estimated payroll by class code for the upcoming year. Make sure to see the definition of payroll on the 'Glossary of Terms' page.
|
| Step 3 Employer Liability: |
| See the definition of Employers Liability
on the glossary page. Select the option currently on your policy or review the cost
at other option levels.
|
| Step 4 Experience Modification |
| The experience modification factor
is a reflection of your firms experience vs. expected losses for businesses like
yours. This factor should be on the first page of your Workers Compensation policy
or in the premium detail section. If your premium does not qualify to be experience
rated (premium too small) you may qualify for a Merit
Rating Credit, this 5% credit should be entered into the experience mod field.
|
| Step 5 ARAP |
| The ARAP factor should be
in the same area of the policy as your experience modification factor. Please type the
factor on your policy into the space provided below the experience modification factor.
|
| Step 6 Calculate |
| Click on the "Calculate" button on the bottom of the form. MultiComp will calculate the lowest Workers Comp quote for the available insurance companies in your selected state and present you with an orderable list. In order to take advantage of the presented savings, you'll need to purchase the information. |
